Role of a Photojournalist
In our last article, we explained the role of the Anchor. Like Anchors, Photojournalist share stories, but primarily through pictures or videos.
An example of this in our broadcast media class is the 6 Word Project. We shared the diversity of our school through images. In recent news, Mayor Kevin Jonson had a pie thrown in his face at a charity event. Since no video was available, news stations relied heavily on Photojournalists to share pictures that could better explain what happened.
Photojournalism is is a great way of reporting news outside of the station!
