Inderkum Music

The Inderkum Music Program is much more than just playing music. Our band directors, Mr. Hines and Ms. Agpalza, help teach band members about respect, integrity, devotion, and determination. Band teaches us how to show love and how to accept everyone in our band “family”. Band students grow to be the best person they can be inside and out.

Two weeks before school starts we have pre-band camp and band camp. For band camp we play fun team building and bonding activities to get to know our new people and to also practice for marching season - during marching season our program practices with blood, sweat, and tears from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm every Monday and Thursday for 10 weeks! Along with the hard work we put in, there are also the memorable, fun times such as the homecoming rally, football games, basketball games, band competitions, and trips we take together - which includes our color guard team.

We don't just have marching band either. The band also consists of three amazing performing ensembles. There is Concert Band, Symphonic band, and Wind

Ensemble. Throughout our concert season, we have 2 concerts and many band competitions.

A lot of people in the program would say that being a part of the IHS band has brought life long friends and another family away from home. It wouldn't be this way if it wasn't for our amazing directors who help us feel comfortable to be ourselves in the program!
